Chinese New Year GatheringHey guys. Where are you guys working, how's life and how's army now? From those who have blogs it's still quite easy to catch up a bit on what they're doing. for eg, dihua is currently learning driving from an instructor that is teaching him to drive and look for pretty girls at the same time =P how bout the rest of ya? how are you guys doing? army guys post your botak pictures up here!
it's almost CNY! guiping and I have been thinking of planning a mini cny gathering. we don't have much ideas though. it's more of meeting up with everyone and catching up a bit :) so it would be nice if you guys could contribute some ideas or vote for the following few default ideas that we've come up with.
1) Going around visiting! (of course i don't think there's a need to collect ang paos. after all there's so many of us. but personal house preference? like if your parents give then it's not very nice to reject too i guess.)
but for idea 1, we need:
a) people to volunteer their houses
b) a suitable day. either chu san (3rd day of CNY) or 24th feb (sat)
2) maybe just a bbq or steamboat gathering at someone's house? (we need a place too. and one steamboat would not be enough so someone would have to bring another. i suppose we need a budget for this too for the food.)
3) any other idea u can think of, day and etc
last note. please vote for either 1), 2) or 3) and leave the respective comments for each of them. and please spread the word around so that everyone will get to read this.
please reply asap or this can be planned well. and try to meet up yeah? i dont want the next time we meet to be our results when all of us are all tensed =
i'll start the ball rolling.
Vanessa1) i'm free on both chu san and the sat and my house is available for visiting
2) i dont mind either steamboat or bbq but i'm afraid i dont think i can hold the steamboat for such a huge group of you. i can bring the steamboat over if you guys require an additional one. budget: $10-$15?
