The most successful method of Chao Geng
1. Do well enough to JUST PASS any weapons handling test.
2. Do VERY well for medical tests or other 'support' related tests.
3. FAIL your SOC and IPPT.
4. Try to be as friendly as possible so you get good peer appraisal points.
5. DO NOT kanna anything like confinements or misfires. Keep your record clean.
6. Express interest in airforce or navy during their talks.
7. Express interest in Command School.
Things to take note of
1. DO NOT... EVER... PICK UP SMOKING.
2. Go and get a few army T-shirts, singlets and black pants before you go in.
3. Try to control you vulgarity output as it can escalate pretty badly. If I can keep a clean sheet you can do it too.
4. Be prepared for a culture shock. Whenever you can't take it, always remember that thousands have done it before you.
5. Learn some basic commands to facilitate your adaptation into military life before you go in.
